Cherupushpam Kuries Olarikkara (P) Ltd was a frontline institution in Thrissur district, involved  in chitty and gold loan business offering unblemished service since the last three decades . With our devoted service,  rooted in trust and honesty, we have been enshrined in the hearts of the people of Thrissur. Cherupushpam  kuries is also blessed with the participation and support of the respected Vicar of  Little Flower Church, Olarikkara. “Cherupushpam” is Malayalam for “ Little Flower” and hence the name of the company.

Cherupushpam Kuries, hereinafter referred to as “ the company”, was established in May 1980 under the patronage of Rev.Fr.Paul Alappat, the then Vicar of Little Flower Church, Olarikkara and Principal of St.Thomas College Thrissur, with 50 share holders and a paid up capital of Rs.2.5 Lakhs.The company`s paid up capital has now risen to Rs.75 lakhs. Besides , the company owns immovable and movable properties worth several crores of rupees, and enjoys the patronage of thousands of content subscribers.
From a moderate start in 1980, the company has grown to its present stature under the able Chairmanship of Sri.C.P Thomas, Sri.T.I Antony , Sri. John Francis ,Dr.Joy Anto and currently under the Chairmanship of Mr. Jolly Stephen and the Board of Directors, consisting of ten renowned personalities of Thrissur. Dr.Joy Anto is the present managing director.

Celebrating in the 36th year of meritorious service for the ordinary people, who require assistance and support in financial matters, we are proud of our companions and greatful to everyone who supported us in all our noble endeavours. The companies indeed proud as it has richly contributed to socio-economic growth of the residents of Olarikkara and it`s neighbourhood . Since 1980 the company has conducted seventy four different types of kuries and presently maintains 2  monthly, 6 pooval and 1 quarterly kuries,  all fully subscribed we offer gold loans all comparatively reasonable rate of interest.
The business of the company is divided into two departments viz; One for kuri activity and the other for gold loan both headed by able managers. Gold loans are sanctioned without delay as the customers approach the company we have experienced gold  appraisers and other specially trained staff. Moreover, interest on gold loans is levied only for the days the loan remains active.

The company has it`s on spacious three storied building constructed in 1997 with 10000 sq.ft carpet area to house its office, an auditorium, Director Board room, etc; and several other shop rooms.
The Company functions on all days, except Sundays and limited holidays between 9.00 A.M and  5.30 P.M. with half an hour lunch recess.In addition to kuri transactions and gold loans money is advanced against kuri passbook at a minimum interest rate. Te company accepts immovable properties, gold, LIC policies, Bonds, Bank FDs etc. as security for quick release of auctioned and prized chit amounts.

Cherupushpam Kuries is thriving with more than Rs.75 lakhs share capital. Our Kuri subscribers exceed five thousand ! Core Banking facility available with some of the major banks like the Dhanalakshmi Bank, The south Indian Bank, Federal Bank etc.

During all these years the company has been involved in several philanthropic activities such as financial assistance for the conduct of the marriage of poor girls, aiding orphanages, etc., in addition to various religious activities. Rev.Fr.Antony Mechery who is the present patron and former Vicar of Little Flower Church guides and steers all such activities.
